About David Flores Romo
If I were to describe my complex self emersed in the world of different mediums of art, I have a passion for both traditional and computer art in general. But as of now, my main focus is in order in 2014 is Illustration, Graphic Art. Photography, and then Filming.
Born in Los Angeles, raised in Houston, I started out as a Traditional Artist. Later, Animation, Film, and Graphic Art where embedded into my early life in my 20's. They quickly became apart of what I'm passionate about today as an artist who dedicates giving up his time for Traditional/Commercial Art in the Industry. I lived in a culture where video games played a big part in our youthful lives until I stepped in college. One person named Kiko Buyo, awhile back in college, told me one important question (these weren't quoted exactly word for word), " Are you gonna play what was created, or create what can be played?". That phrase separates use from being the "wanna-be fan" artist to an "I AM" artist. But if there was a secret to any thing in life that I would say from an artist's perspective, I'd say, " ONE THING ". Follow what matters most in anything what you value....One Thing. Because once you lose that " One Thing", you lose focus on "Creating and Finishing" your work for the day because it's talent wasted through the door. Never give up.
Also as my side job, I teach kids how to draw cartoons, teach basic principles of drawing and techniques to willing and decidating rising experienced fine artists, and I occasionally participate in art shows.
